A short horror game with 2 different endings made in 72 hours for Winter MelonJam 24 (theme: polarity).

This is so well-made! The graphics are amazing. It was all cutesy at first, and then you'd know why it is a horror game. I especially love the progression of the story and how it went twisted.

I loved this, Mimi reminds me of Eternal Sugar Cookie and Domomo reminds me of Mystic Flour Cookie, or I could just play to much CRK...
The art in this game is so beautiful!!! Also yuri ofc gives it a 10/10.

AAAHH I loved it!! The artstyle is adorable, thr bgm and sfx too... A lovely short vn that I most definitely love (you forever) and it was super fun acting either more selfish or kinder :) I totally recommed playing hehe

idk what the other one is but i got where they got into an argument pushed domo 2 the ground and at the end it said theyd love each other 4ever? if that helps
OH yes that's the delulu end! the other one you can get by choosing at least 2 out of 3 of "push on," "change the subject," "watch the TV show"

Game was great but does anyone know why Domo didn't want to keep watching Sailor Moon with Mimi? What was in the show that could have disturbed her?
honestly it was just that it was never a show domo really liked but i would love to hear theories hehe
I really enjoyed the direction you chose with the theme!
My only suggestion would be that some of the dialogue feels a bit repetitive; the style and subtle glitches do a lot already to explain what is going on. And I understood what was going on without really having to reread anything.
(In my opinion, that is good since that means the art style and concept are consistent)
thanks!! curious what part of the dialogue you found repetitive? interestingly i've found that a lot of people didn't understand what actually happened.. hard to make sure everyone gets it without spoonfeeding :')
The relationship dialogue between the two characters, particularly. Mimi already comes off as very controlling, and the relationship isn't healthy. I felt after the first day, I was wondering more about what Mimi was thinking internally, rather than what Domo had to say/her calling Mimi repeatedly.
I feel for a game this short, internal character struggle rather than external may help the story land for more people.
Mind you, I am not familiar with game jams yet, and I have only done long-term projects, so please take my recommendations with a grain of salt!
hmm to be fair since everything domo is saying is from mimi's thoughts i guess that's a window in? i think the point is also that mimi should present as narcissistic (but you don't realize that until later) and basically says whatever she thinks. i sometimes like wondering what a character's thinking instead of knowing it, but i also find writing internal character struggle tougher since what i write feels more cringe to me sometimes :P
and yeah, the whole story & writing (6000+ words) was done in 72 hours, mostly by nii (who did all the art except minigame stuff) and myself (who did the rest of the art + almost all the programming) so :') many places we could've refined but i think it was pretty good for the time limit. lots of kudos to you though, i tend to lose motivation for longer projects haha

in both endings she pushes domo down, the endings differ after the last minigame!

was Domo dead before the game takes place? the words Mimi says around the end feels like it implies it and I lwk just wanna b smart LOL >< and the whole game itself feels like a huge hinttt

YES!! she stabbed domo to death, which is why the glitches show a knife and sometimes the torso, and the entire game domo is dead and stinking it up (hence the neighbors complaining) :)
