Well, I just finished the game so here is my opinion:
I quite liked the designs and characters, I found them quite pretty! And I also quite liked the story and how it gives you little clues of what is really happening; Of course, I would have liked the story part to have been explored more, which is why I feel like it has potential for a longer game. Also at first I felt that the protagonist was too naive and innocent, but then I understood that this plays an important role in the story.
Personally, I would have liked there to be a system to save and load the games, as well as some final image for the different endings, but that is more personal taste.
Final Words: It is a short and simple game, but it is really enjoyable. It can be completed fairly quickly and I would recommend it.

CUTE BUT DARK GAMES ARE ONE OF MY FAVORITE NICHES so i had a lotta fun playing it >:DD. the contrast in extremes between miss and ellie was super interesting.
UHHH SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T PLAYED YET but i played the other two endings on my own, and the ending where ellie dies was. RAHHH i felt bad for her. like her naivety really hurt her to the end dvsbhj. but i was also really curious who the other 'she' miss mentioned. the themes explored were really interesting, both miss and ellie had opposite extreme views, and neither were particularly in the right?? like i see a lot of people who know blind optimism is toxic, but then are just as blindly pessimistic if that. makes sense
i found myself empathizing with a lot of miss's beliefs regarding vigilantism but at the same time, she intentionally traumatized and then killed a naive college kid who trusted her? LIKE she preaches ridding the world of rot, but intentionally 'corrupts' a naive gullible college kid, and then kills her if she doesn't conform to her ideals. while she isn't as awful as the people she kills outside of ellie (in my opinion anyway fvdbs) she isn't a good person either, and the hypocrisy is interesting. it'd be cool to see how she justifies it in her head >:DD
meanwhile ellie's obliviousness and naivety borderlines close-mindedness and insensitivity, which is really interesting too! how you can interpret her character can vary wildly depending on the ending you get, and i think that's really cool >:]].
IT'S A REALLY FUN GAME and it's amazing you made it in such a short amount of time vdbshj. you did a really good job of matching the theme, and the morals called into question was fascinating too >:] (also the sound track was killer vsbhj)
this might be my favorite lore comment of all time cuz like AAHHH YOU NOTICED THE "SHE"!!!!! basically canonically ellie is not the first person miss did this to (she's the second), the first one lashed out and took her eye and that's why she wears a mask now
and yeah i really tried to make their sides kind of extreme but still relatable to a point where people who have those viewpoints are like oh they're a little flawed (HOPEFULLY??)
AND THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! i really wanted to emphasize the morality of everything with this game :DDD we didn't make the music but yeah nii found really good music for us hahah
oh I meant after the game was over that it was a sweet and cute tone again but when she finally found out that miss did all that stuff it was dark and scary
had a lot of fun with this game the art style is really cute yet it can be disturbing if the situation in the game calls for it though i don't know if i couldn't find it or it wasn't there but i noticed there wasn't any buttons to skip through the text after my first playthrough but it didn't take away my enjoyment as i had a lot of fun regardless

I really like how you wrote the ending where Ellie refuses to cooperate. Often times in fiction, I can sense the author's judgement through how the characters are depicted, but in your game they simply felt coherent and genuine. Even though they are complete opposite, you managed to make them both convincing.

I'm stuck on the second crime scene, with 1 missing detail in the hotel room. I can't find anythingggggggg... The spot on the mirror looks suspicious, but I can't click it. Suggestiosn?
Try clicking around on the floor, if you haven't already found the stain by the coffee maker?
Edit: There's also the phone off the hook, a broken handle on a drawer, and a tilted lampshade, which are other slightly inconspicuous things, hope that helps haha
the character art & design in this is seriously so adorable... very interesting premise id really love to see it expanded on further someday ^_^ miss apologists rise up
uh no sorry im kinda bad at explaining stuff i mean like the very last room of the game where ellie gets explained what miss has been doingthe song in this room
i mean the song after this one thats for the scene right before i mean the song that plays when you have the choice to join miss at the end of the game sorry for making this so confusing i probably should have started with that and this would have made it much more clear of what scene i meant sorry again
